In December, donations from hunting and fishing license buyers to Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry have surpassed $1 million.

Through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission's online system, contributions of just a dollar or two at checkout have added up.

AHFH receives 100% of these donations which fund the delivery of ground venison to food banks and reimburse processors.

Providing nearly 100,000 pounds of venison annually, AHFH serves approximately 400,000 meals to those in need.

Donations also help manage deer herds and preserve habitat.
