A man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after admitting to the murder of a 63-year-old man during a burglary in Bellefonte.

Donald Calderwood, Jr.

confessed to shooting and killing Dale McEntire following an argument between the two.

Calderwood remains in Boone County Detention Center.

The incident occurred in June 2023 according to court documents filed on Monday.

The probable cause affidavit detailed the events leading up to the murder.

Calderwood's plea agreement was accepted in Boone County Circuit Court.

After 8 months of working on my kitchen renovation during quarantine, I finally finished renovating the windows in my 1880 home. I removed the paint from the beautiful wood windows and stained them with Walnut Gel Stain.

After applying polycrylic for protection, I cleaned the storm windows and reattached them with new hardware that I spray painted black and added Rub and Buff in Antique Gold.

Now, I need to figure out how to paint the faucet gold to match the new hardware.
